How to request deletion
To permanently delete your dtoxy account and data, send us an email and we’ll process your request:
- To: privacy@dtoxy.app
- Subject: dtoxy Account Deletion Request
- Include: the email address you use to sign in to dtoxy, and a sentence confirming you want your account and data permanently deleted.
We verify the request is coming from the account owner before deleting anything.
What gets deleted
The following is permanently erased:
- Your account record (email and user id).
- Your scan history (product names, scores, and timestamps).
- Your in-app preferences and settings.
- The subscription records we use to grant Pro access.
What is retained
For legal and accounting reasons, a limited set of records is kept after deletion:
- Apple App Store transaction receipts, retained for tax and audit purposes as required by law.
- Aggregated or anonymized logs that can no longer identify you.
Processing time
We complete deletion requests within 7 days and send a confirmation email once your account and data have been removed.
Important notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- A dtoxy Pro subscription is managed by Apple. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel it in your App Store account settings. Any unused subscription time is non-refundable except through Apple.
- You can sign up again later with the same email — this creates a brand new, empty account.
